2019 QLD State Championship

Yesterday, all academies from the Galeb Brothers BJJ army made there way to the Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium to compete at the QLD State Championship. This is the biggest competition in Queensland and we sure made an impact on the day. We had over 60 competitors from across all Galeb Brothers BJJ academies representing the team & the results were amazing.

After the competition was finished, Galeb Brothers BJJ finished ranked:

3rd place Overall (out of 59 teams)

2nd Best Male team

2nd Best Female team

4th Best Kids team

These are outstanding results given the number of competitors we had. We are so proud of each and every one of you for stepping out of your comfort zones onto the competition mats, win or lose, it's all about giving your best and continuing to better ourselves.

Also, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came down to support the team. All our amazing friends & families who are on the sideline cheering on our fellow teammates. That's what makes our team special, if one goes to war, we all go to war. So thank you & congratulations to everybody for a great day of Jiu Jitsu.
