Moreton Bay Championship

Another weekend and another competition in the books. This time the Moreton Bay Championship was up as apart of the Queensland BJJ Circuit. We had a small amount of competitors head north to represent and they didn't disappoint, with only five students testing their skills on the competition mat. Check out the results.

8 - Gold

1 - Silver

2 - Bronze

Coach Paulo was leading the team in the brown belt division - earning himself 1 gold & 1 silver medal and three submission victories.

Our blue belts had a great day with Hana Kang winning double gold (weight & open weight) & Jesse Jones also winning double gold in the gi and double bronze in no gi.

Cassie Campbell faced the fear of competing for the very first time and what a way to go for her first competition with a double gold performance & two submissions (gi & no gi)

Congratulations to everyone who competed or went to show support for the team. Great performance all round. Up next is Australian Nationals in Melbourne on the 10th of August.
