Byron Bay Winter Open

Just over one week ago, the team headed south again to compete in the BJJ Winter Open in Byron Bay, NSW. This competition is a regular throughout the year for our academies and we have a great time down there.
With just seven competitors from our academy, we managed to finish the day with:
4 x Gold
4 x Silver
1 x Bronze
A special mention to our blue belt killer, Felippe Martins for winning the blue/purple absolute division and walking away with a nice cash prize to compensate his hard work.
Congratulations to everyone who competed & to those who went down to support the team, thank you!
Up next is the Fight Night Championship 2, with Coach Paulo Cesar Lima of Galeb Brothers BJJ Southside competing in a 10 minute submission only style format.
